About Us
We are hobby breeders. Meaning that our dogs are our pets. They do not live in kennels. They live in our homes as part of our families. They are socialized with other dogs, kids, cats...sometimes they even visit the horses or mini donkeys!
Our goal is to breed healthy, happy, beautiful dogs that anyone would be proud to own (as we are!). We strive for dogs that are calm in the house but plenty of get up and go for any type of obedience, agility, herding, rally or any other activity they can join their people in. Our breeding stock has been very carefully selected from honest, reputable breeders with the same goals as we have. To insure healthy, well adjusted beautiful dogs and better the breed.
Aussies are family dogs. They LOVE to be involved in whatever their family or special human is doing. They are fine at home while you work as long as they have some type of stimulation to wear them out daily. I put one on a treadmill for 20 minutes a day if he gets bored. It works great!
Everywhere these little dogs go, people stop to ask you about them. It's hard to get a concept of their size if you have only seen full size aussies. Here at Daisy Hill, we are striving for small mini's and toy aussies. That's our preference because they are so portable. It's great to be able to wash the dog in the kitchen sink!!
